Experience:
I have worked with children in camp and daycare settings with special needs. One of the children was diagnosed with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) and had precise needs to deter potential violent behaviour. I have also worked with children in the Autism spectrum ranging from Asperger's syndrome to a non-verbal child who was a flight risk.
Besides my experience with children I lived for over 5 years with my parents who took care of special needs adults full-time in our home. These adults had autism, down syndrome, and various birth defects.
